About Hella

I am working on publishing all of my father, Henry E Prante's treasure trove of hunting adventure stories as well as his only novel. His first book, Great Hunting Adventures was first published in 1985 and is now available via e-book, from www.smashwords.com. Dad also saved all relevant material related to his work with the Port Coquitlam Hunting and Fishing Club and their involvement in the conservation movement and in saving the Coquitlam River and its tributaries for future generations. This part of BC history deserves to be preserved as well. Needless to say, it is a monumental task and will take some time. Henry also travelled through the Yukon in order to get to his beloved Atlin BC. I will endeavour to provide maps and links from Parks Canada or the towns up north and pictures my brother Ray takes on his trips north.

Welcome to Teslin, Yukon

My Dad always spoke of this area as well when he talked of his many hunting trips here and then on to Atlin, BC. It is very beautiful here, too.  Check out these links here for further information. http://travelyukon.com/about-yukon/yukon-communities/teslin  http://www.bellsalaska.com/canada.htm and http://www.teslin.ca/ Ray … Continue reading

My plan is to publish more books by Henry E Prante

I still have a lot to learn about this WordPress technology and will be re-vamping this site so please excuse all the adjustments.

In addition to all this, I am getting the new books ready to be published.

I am also considering a re-print of Great Hunting Adventures Vol I in paperback form from Create A Space or… and would love to know if you would be interested in a full series collection.

I know my Dad would have loved to know other like-minded hunters and outdoors individuals could vicariously experience his thrill of the hunt, in between their own hunting adventures, as would I, so leave me a message please.

Anyhow, thanks you again for your interest.
