More Pictures from the SS Klondike in Whitehorse Yukon

[counterize]Hi. Sorry for the delay in getting the rest of these uploaded. But better late than never and this is very challenging for me to accomplish because I am too old to learn this stuff like I might have done when I was 20.

Please pardon the duplicates. I was trying to use a different uploader so they wouldn’t be scattered all over the place but messed up, lost all of what I had already done and had to start over, now I can’t get them removed I don’t think.

If you use your mouse over each picture you will see captions I added or click on the photos to enlarge them..

These were from spring 2010 and taken by my brother Ray Prante on his annual trip up north to visit the McIlvaney’s in Whitehorse and the Colwell’s in Atlin, BC.

It was special to me to hear back from Parks Canada so you can learn a lot more about this area from them via this link:

In addition I am adding the link for CBC Radio Whitehorse because it has a mural on the outside wall of their building in Whitehorse, Yukon. The picture is in the group. With the threat of the CBC getting major cuts in funding by the Conservative Government I want to give these guys a shout out for their great service to a northern community.

So if you enjoy the pix send me a note or add a reply to the post. Thanks
